Wrapping your own vehicles
For service businesses (plumbers, landscapers, movers, HVAC, delivery, food trucks), wrapping company vehicles is one of the most cost-efficient forms of OOH: you pay once and the vehicle works every day for years.
| Wrap type | Typical installed cost | Lifespan |
|---|---|---|
| Spot graphics / decals | $300–$1,500 | 3–7 years |
| Partial wrap (car/van) | $1,000–$3,000 | 4–7 years |
| Full wrap — car / SUV | $2,500–$5,000 | 4–7 years |
| Full wrap — cargo van / box truck | $3,500–$8,000+ | 4–7 years |
| Trailer (53') | $5,000–$12,000+ | 5–7 years |
Paid driver programs
Companies such as Wrapify and Carvertise pay everyday drivers to wrap their cars for your campaign and track mileage and impressions via GPS. Campaigns usually run 1–3 months and are priced by number of cars and wrap level.
Design tips
- Logo, what you do and a phone number or URL — readable at 50 feet.
- Use high contrast; avoid putting key text across door handles and seams.
- Put a unique phone number or vanity URL on wrapped vehicles to measure calls.
